Psychiatric treatment is not only about a diagnosis. It is about understanding each person’s situation and finding the form of assessment, treatment and contact that makes the most sense.
Psychiatric assessment and individually tailored treatment for adults.
Treatment may include talking therapy, medication or a combination of both, depending on individual needs.
Assessment, treatment and follow-up for adults with ADHD.
If you have already been diagnosed, you may also need support with the next steps – including treatment, psychoeducation and follow-up.
Psychiatric assessment and treatment can, where appropriate, take place via secure video consultation.
Other parts of a treatment programme are best carried out in person.
For many adults, it can be a relief to finally have an explanation for difficulties that may have been present for many years.
But the diagnosis is only the beginning.
The next step may involve finding the right treatment, considering medication options, working with psychoeducation and structure, or monitoring the effects of treatment that has already been started.
The goal is not simply to have a diagnosis – but to receive treatment that makes a difference in everyday life.
Digital psychiatry is not about replacing personal contact.
It is about using digital options when they can make psychiatric treatment more flexible and accessible – while choosing in-person consultations when clinically necessary or simply the better option.
A treatment programme can therefore be:
in person · digital · or a combination
The Little Prince Treatment Centre is led by Davor Mucić, specialist in psychiatry.
For many years, his clinical and academic work has focused particularly on telepsychiatry, digital mental health and psychiatric treatment across geographical, linguistic and cultural barriers.
Good communication is an important part of psychiatric treatment.
The clinic works with patients from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds and has language capabilities beyond Danish and English.
Whenever possible and appropriate, treatment can therefore be provided without the use of an interpreter.
The Little Prince Treatment Centre also works with municipalities and other professional partners on psychiatric assessments, status reports and specialist medical statements.
Each assignment is tailored to the specific situation and, where clinically appropriate, can be carried out either in person or via telepsychiatry.
