ADHD in adults can affect concentration, organisation, sense of time, impulse control and the ability to manage everyday life. However, symptoms vary from person to person, which is why a thorough psychiatric assessment is essential.
At The Little Prince Treatment Centre, we offer psychiatric assessment and treatment for adults with ADHD. The focus is not only on symptoms, but also on how these difficulties affect work, relationships and everyday functioning.
Do you already have an ADHD diagnosis?
A diagnosis does not necessarily mark the end of the process. For many people, it is the beginning of finding the treatment that works best for them.
If you have already been diagnosed with ADHD, you may need an assessment of treatment options, medication, psychoeducation, adjustments to your existing treatment, or ongoing follow-up.
The goal is not simply to have a diagnosis, but to receive treatment that makes a real difference in everyday life.
Treatment is more than medication
For some people, medication is an important part of treatment. For others, different approaches may be equally important.
Treatment may therefore also focus on gaining a better understanding of ADHD, creating structure in everyday life, improving sleep and planning, and developing strategies for managing situations where symptoms cause the greatest difficulties.
In-person consultation or video?
Some parts of psychiatric treatment may be suitable for secure video consultations, while other situations require or are best handled through in-person appointments.
We therefore assess individually which form of consultation is most appropriate from a clinical perspective.
